I recently stumbled upon the brilliant typographic work of Marian Bantjes {via iLT}, specifically her Love Stories series – a visual essay on the people and things that Marian loves. Love Stories was featured in the August 2008 issue of Monograph, published by Creative Review. Magnificent. I can't stop looking at it.

What a great find! Lovely work. And I like that it's so personal to the artist. Missing friends helped get me into printmaking--early on, I did linocuts of friends far away. Made them seem closer.
